Why I’m Fundraising for CREATE Community Studios

Most weekends, you’ll find me at the table with my daughters, hands deep in clay. No rules, no plan—just soft earth, open minds, and time together. These unstructured moments of creativity are where we slow down, breathe, and truly connect. We make shapes, we make laughter, and sometimes, we just make a mess. But what we’re really making is space—for calm, for bonding, and for healing.

That’s the kind of space CREATE Community Studios makes possible for so many others.

CREATE believes that everyone deserves access to creative expression—not as a finished product, but as a process of self-discovery, connection, and well-being. They offer inclusive, welcoming places where people of all backgrounds can explore creativity in their own way, often with nothing more than a lump of clay and a safe place to be themselves.
